All is well! Fletcher is perfectly healthy! Thank you everyone!
At Fletcher's 4 month appointment, the doctor noticed that his leg rolls were "off" (i.e., they are not aligned with each other). This can be a sign of hip displacia (apparently it doesn't just happen to dogs). So, we scheduled an ultrasound to check it out.
The results were good - no hip displacia or anything else worrisome.
At Fletcher's 6 month appointment on Friday, August 12th, another doctor in the practice noticed a distinct "click" in his hip - she both felt and heard it. So, we're off to get an X-ray of his hips today.
Keep your fingers crossed that he is ok and doesn't need to wear a brace or anything else more drastic (I've seen some pictures online of partial body casts that are very intimidating).
