At the end of last week, we received a note from the pre-school in Fletcher's mailbox that a classmate had strep and that everyone had been exposed.
This week, Fletcher hasn't been feeling well. We've had to pick him up from school and spend the following day off with him while he had a fever and cough. A trip to the pediatrician on Tuesday revealed a "random kid virus", not strep. So he went back to school and we dosed him as often as we could to make sure the fever stayed away while he was in school. Friday, I called the pediatrician's office again to let them know that he wasn't better and the fever hadn't gone away at all.
Reid took him back to the pediatrician Friday afternoon and what do ya know! It's strep! YAY for antibiotics and inhalers! I then had to let the preschool know that he had strep. Good thing we insisted on having him seen since we leave tomorrow morning for Disney World!
