Had a very low-key and chill birthday this year. First, it was really hot...not just hot for Michigan...really hot! The boys and I went to the park and played for a couple of hours. We each went through one full waterbottle (not the little 12oz disposable ones - the 24oz (men) and 30oz (me) reusable ones) after the first hour of being there. Because it was so hot, we were literally the only ones at the playground.

After running around for about 90 minutes, we spent about an hour sitting in the shade under a tree blowing bubbles.
And then we had to go to the pool 'cause it was HOT!
