I drove home for Grandpa's funeral and brought Graham with me for company. He is an excellent travel buddy. Not a great sleeper, but an excellent travel buddy. We crossed into Pennsylvania around 9pm and I realized that we weren't going to be able to make it the whole way in one evening. Thankfully, Reid called a hotel and made us reservations.
When we stopped, Graham was rather upset that we weren't at MumMum's and PopPop's house. He was a big fan of the pancakes and breakfast hotdogs at the hotel breakfast buffet though! We finally made it to MumMum's and PopPop's house at 11:30am where I promptly had a big cup of coffee. While we waited for Justin, Shawna, and Maddy to arrive from Boston, Graham and PopPop got the tractor out of the barn and took a ride. They didn't find any reindeer though.
Tractor rides
Time to retrieve the leaves!
Saturday morning there had to be storytime with PopPop/Bubba.
Little Blue Truck Leads the Way is a favorite (and PopPop is a good sport about it). In fact, I'm pretty sure he had it memorized months ago.
After Grandpa's funeral, we let the munchkins stay up pretty late to watch the Pixar movie, Cars.
They were fascinated.
They were fascinated.
