Why are the weeks leading up to Christmas and New Year's so busy?!
So I participated in 2 cookie exchanges this year. One was hosted by the friend of a friend (a reasonable 6 cookies per person) and the other was at my new job (a less than reasonable 12 cookies per person). I made pizzelles for the first and rum balls for the second - both were quite tasty.
The Wednesday and Thursday before Christmas we made a Gingerbread House. Gay has a form that she has had for a long time and I used it to make the walls, roof, etc. Gay and Graham glued it together and decorated it.
