It was a whirlwind trip but a very successful one! The boys and I left Ann Arbor Thursday afternoon and made it to Pittsburgh around 9pm. They are wonderful travel buddies!! There were no tantrums in the car and no fussing about bedtime. WOW!
Gigi and Gpa were up and eagerly waiting to play with the men - and the men were more than happy to oblige. Graham ran in circles around the kitchen and the living room and Fletcher discovered the newspaper bin...and proceeded to empty it. :o) Fletcher stayed awake until I put him in his pack-and-play about 10pm. Graham stayed up with me until about 11pm. He slept the whole night and actually slept in until 7:30!! Awesome!
Friday GiGi made Graham his customary breakfast of eggs and cheese (unfortunately, he only ate about half of it because he wanted to get down and take Gpa up to see the clock). We were packed and in the car at 10 before Fletcher started barking. He consumed an entire bottle before passing out before we left the driveway. We hit the road for State College and the Lion Shrine. We stopped quickly in at the Lion before hitting the road again for Aunt Derbis'. We got to the Procopio's in time for dinner and a quick visit with PopPop!! Aunt Lauren and Uncle Jared arrived soon after. Fletcher was FASCINATED with Uncle Jared's beard. :) There were no bedtime shenanigans until 3:30ish in the morning when Graham woke up from a nightmare or something and work up Fletcher. Fletcher absolutely refused to go back to sleep until 5:30am. I was in desperate need of coffee that morning. The men, however, were perfectly happy!

Morning Graham! Morning Maddy!
Still, we all were repacked and loaded up in the car, in our Halloween costumes, and on our way to MumMum's house by 9:45am!! And so was the nor'easter. Yes, an early nor'easter was predicted to hit the east coast and dump between 8-12 inches of snow on our heads. I was completely unaware of this and hadn't packed appropriate snow gear for any of us. BOO!
The little trick-or-treaters were a complete surprise! YAY! MumMum did not cry which shocked us all. The Halloween costumes did not last very long because PopPop had to get the tractors out.
Grahams' pants were soaked from playing in the snow and had to spend some time drying by the fire. He spent the day pantless for the most part.
Poor Maddy! She just wanted to play the bubbles game.
Look out Fletcher! Maddy's not happy with you!
Trucks!
PopPop cuddles!
Justin - I'm so glad you took this picture of him!!
Ready to go outside!!
Graham - this is a snowball.
Maddy working her way through the snow.
MumMum makes it snow!
Before we left on Monday, we drove down to Grandma and Grandpa Vican's house. Grandma Vican has awesome trucks!
Here is one of Gram's new quilts.
